update + mini haul 1/28/12

hello there! it's definitely been quite some time since i've posted on this blog. hopefully i'll be posting more. hopefully. no promises. i've been meaning to update this blog actually. for the future, i plan on posting OOTDs, cosmetic reviews, beauty tips, DIYs, and other fun but lame (from me) things. anyways, today i went on a mini shopping spree with my ever so lovely boyfriend. guess how much my haul total was? $1.50! my boyfriend purchased the powder puff for me, as well as an unpictured wet n' wild liner that i wanted to try... the cream blusher was the only thing i paid for, and it's actually a gift for my sister. the deluxe hope in a jar is my 100 point perk gift from sephora, and the sugar lip duo is sephora's birtday gift to me. isn't getting free stuff the best?

pictured above is a sweater that i bought on sale for $25 at aritzia. the color immediately drew me in, of course. right here, y'all, is a sucker for lilac. anyways, at first i was a smidgen bit hesitant to purchase these, but i went for it anyways. i'm happy with it.

not quite sure what to do with this blog! previously i had tried too hard to be like some sort of "commercial" blogger. i guess from now on, i'll be more personal and ~chilled out~. i'm considering in branching into beauty (FOTD, reviews, hauls) too. i probably will. i have some editing to do, and hopefully i'll get this blog running again

Lately, I've been so obsessed with models... It's a little bit unhealthy. Models are just so so so beautiful! This idolization may be bad for my health and is definitely bad for my self-esteem. Oh, what is a teenage girl to do? If you couldn't tell, I'm especially obsessed with a Miss Abbey Lee Kershaw. She's my favorite... She deserves her own tag!

How pretty are these little numbers? I saw them while reading the latest NYLON magazine (with Mila Kunis as their cover girl! She's absolutely gorgeous). I don't really know how to describe these rings. They make me think of all-black outfits. I think they would look quite nice with said outfits. Winter is actually when my wardrobe changes to black, actually. Wintertime goth. Heh. I think I'm funny...
